ING Life Donates to 'Save the Children' In Support of Qinghai Relief Work for Children
To lend a helping hand to the emergency work of international charity organization Save the Children, ING Life launches an 'Insure to help the Qinghai earthquake victims' initiative. For customers who successfully apply for any of ING Life's policies from 1 to 31 May 2010, ING Life will donate HK$100 to Save the Children on behalf of the customers. The donation will be used to support emergency relief as well as child protection and hygiene projects in Qinghai. Therefore, insuring a new policy will not only provide customised protection but also a chance to help children in need. This charity initiative demonstrates ING and customers' love and care for the community.
In this charity program, for each customers who successfully apply for any ING Life's policies during the designated period, regardless of the premium amount, ING will donate HK$100 per policy to Save the Children on behalf of the customers. Save the Children in turn will issue a donation receipt to the donors. There will be no upside limit of ING Life's total donation. In addition, donation boxes have been placed at ING customer service centre and training centre to mobilize its own staff and wealth planners to extend support for this charitable cause.
Save The Children is the leading non-profit organization working to create positive, lasting change for disadvantaged children globally with more than 90 years of history. It has been working on creating a better world for children in Mainland China since 1980s. The fund raised will be used to support projects that safeguard the health and hygiene of children living in the temporary camps at the disaster zone, such as distributing household and hygiene kits to those in need and setting up water purification stations.
